The bluechip IR App is a one-stop-shop solution for IROs and management. The App covers relevant key performance indicators, analysts’ estimates and implied valuation metrics, information on significant shareholders and analyst contact details as well as a cockpit of key IR charts. The App allows management to access all IR-related information quickly and focused, an essential tool for management while traveling or on roadshow.
The key element of the IR App however, is the 'Alert'-function. This module allows bluechip to push all relevant news gathered in the financial community (new Analysts reports, important news articles, competitive or industry data) as pop-up message instantaneously to the iPhones of all registered users.
The bluechip IR App is not distributed via Apple's App Store. Only registered users will receive the required installation files directly from bluechip financial communications. Every single iPhone device which has been specified to receive the IR App will be registered so that even if installation files or login data were to be distributed illegally, the IR App could not be accessed by a non-registered user. Thus, we make sure that price sensitive or shareholder related data remain confidential.
bluechip financial communications maintains and updates the app on a regular basis. Companies registered for the bluechip IR App receive timely alerts in the form of pop-up messages as soon as relevant information regarding the company, its industry or peers is available in the market or press. bluechip also provides monthly / weekly cockpit-charts such as rating-splits, share price vs. target - gaps as well as an overview of all estimates.
bluechip financial communications ensures that its clients are provided with new releases of the IR App in case of the inclusion of new features or product enhancements (maintenance function.)
The App is not to be considered a one-time, upfront investment for the customer. Customers benefit from bluechip's direct ear into the financial community. The monthly licence fee to be paid depends on the depths of modules & value added services selected by the customer (cockpit view and actualization, etc.) and should be considered complementary to other key IR services offered by bluechip.
The bluechip IR App could be made available as well for other devices such as BlackBerry. According to the client’s needs, further customer-specific functions can be added to the IR App at a respective service charge.
